DRIVE BELT 2.2 CRD & 1.6 LITRE

The 2.2 CRD diesel engine and the 1.6 litre petrol engine both have a camshaft chain rather than a belt that does not require changing routinely. The belt here which drives the alternator, water pump, air con compressor etc. is recommended for change at 62,500 miles (100,000kms) or at 60 months. Click photo for belt layout.

TIMING CAM BELT KITS FOR THE PT CRUISER

These kits contain the parts required for a timing/cam belt change. They all include the water pump which is located under the timing belt cover with the belt.
Timing cam belts for 2.0 & 2.4 litre engines are recommended for change at 90,000 miles (144,000kms).

IDLER / PULLEY WHEEL 2.0 LITRE 2000-2005 PT CRUISERS

It is important to check the idler wheel bearing when renewing the timing belt as a worn bearing will shorten the life of the belt. This wheel is also used on the Bracket tensioner TB1. Fits 2000-2005 2.0 litre PT Cruisers.

POWER STEERING BELT TENSIONER 2.0 LITRE

Replacement power steering / air conditioning belt tensioner. It is often just the tensioner pulley wheel bearing that fails (our part PST4 above).
